Thursday November, 23

We leave Paris, ready for 20 hours trip heading for Trebovlje. The journey is pretty cool actually, not that long, thanks to the home cinema recently installed in the van, but anyway, 20 hours even so !

Friday November, 24

We arrive in Trebovlje, where we meet at once our friend Uros from Red Five Point Star. We have a short rest before we go to make an interview in a local radio. After that, before the concert, we go for a brass band session that was pretty fucked up actually! Anyway the concert was cool, with the Red Five on stage with us and the other bands “Can’t Sleep at Night” and “Green over Blue”. After the show, at about 6 in the morning, we take the road for 1’30 hour to Ljubljana to sleep in the big squat Metelkova. Thanks a lot to Andrej and Uros for their welcoming and to the all Red Five crew for the great party. Thanks also to our DJ Mamar who drove us alive to Ljubljana!!!

Saturday November, 25

Big day today. We wake up in Metelkova and take the road at once to Zagreb where we gonna meet our Croatian friends. We arrive very late in Zagreb and all the sound check schedule had to change because of us. There are many bands playing tonight: The Beat Fleet (Split), KUD Idijoti (Pula), Joke (Pariz – hey, it’s us!), The Bambi Molesters (Sisak), Dubioza Kolektiv (Zenica), Septica (Vinkovci) and our friend from the Antenat Crew (Zagreb). It’s a big student party, with about 3000 people! We decide to go again for a brass band session which was great this time, in despair for the bouncers, who didn’t want to hear us and above all to see us !! The concert was HUGE, in an over-excited place, the dancefloor was on fire ! We ended the night with the brass band. At about 8am, we take Nico to the airport, can not resist to tear to pieces Bino’s blue jeans (it’s a kind of a tradition for us, don’t mind!) and finally we sleep in our friends’ places. Thanks a lot to them, we must have been real pain for them, but sorry guys…rakija has hit again ! Big up for Brada for the invitation, to the technicians, to Vishna, Kate and Brian for their apartments… Big up to Aki for coming! and of course to all the Antenat crew

Sunday and Monday November, 26 and 27

We wake up at about 3pm and stay a little bit in Kate’s place for coffe. Then, we leave our friends and take the road back to France. We are stopped and frisked first by the Croatian and Slovenian customs, then stopped again by the flying customs in Germany, we were completely searched and had to empty the van at about 5 in the morning in the cold and under the rain! Result: we lost the papers of the van, had to pay for the extra cigarettes we had, which they seized as well ! Finally we arrive in France where it happens again! Once at the border and twice by the flying customs… We arrive at 6pm…

We had some crazy days… back home, we are more convinced that borders are useless except to fuck off simple people and set up people against each other. Fuck borders! Fuck customs! Fuck the police! Long live music!
